Too hard

A fun idea for an older game, but it's way, WAY too hard to be a lot of fun. Lower the difficulty a bit, Tom.

Short but fun

Fun little game, while it lasts. The art is fantastic as always - Zeebarf does bitching graphics! I like the meter and the expressions on his face. I really wish there was more stuff to choose from, so it gets stupid pretty quick though. It's fun while it lasts.

Shows promise.

Mmm... tantalizing stuff. You certainly have the graphical skills if nothing else - your 3D graphics are some of the most sumptous and fast-flowing I've seen so far in Flash. The sound is equally impressive - if this is an accurate sample, then there's hope yet. The idea of an 'advanced strategy' monopoly sounds promising - I actually LIKE monopoly unlike the general consensus around here...

Of course, this is only a glorified AD, and not even a demo at that, so points off on that. But the concept IS tantalizing... I look forward to the final product!

Good idea

This is a pretty creative and interactive game. The idea of hunger, money, and computer needs is is a good idea, as is the random phone calls. The graphics are a bit basic, and the guy walks too slow, but it's not that noticeable. You're right about newgrounds always being down, though :(
.
I suppose my only major complaint is that you should continue to develop this trend. Once you get the hang of the game, it's really pretty easy to beat. You just hit up the tank thing, say 7 tanks on screen w/ 2 or 3 to hit, and it's just a matter of going through the monotony to beat it. I'd say, for this to be a REALLY cool game, you should add more "needs" like bathroom, exercise, fresh air, and dare I say it, sex? And maybe some other obligations like a job, roomate, landlord, or something like that.
.
Overall, nice idea. Just work on making the game a bit harder and more complex, and this would be awesome!

Very customizable.

Cool game! The sheer amount of cars, customization options, backgrounds, music, and drivers really makes this game fun, even if you're not a big car fan (like me :-b). The drag racing and cop chasing bit really are the coolest parts. One glitch though... it is possible to get the drag racing lights stuck on the other backgrounds by pushing spacebar on the cop chase scene and when changing backgrounds. Just a little note.
.
Really cool job! Now if you could only get us all a few cars like these...

Fun game...

...but I can't help wondering why I'm a uni-browed gunslinger shooting at an innocent penguin-like bird. Oh well. Game runs well; the controls work well and it doesn't lock up any. It suffers from extreme repidity, though. Some variations in the gameplay - maybe some levels, higher difficulties, powerup weapons, faster moving bird, other targets, different backgrounds, musics... I dunno. It's fun, but it's kind of a one-shot thing.

Good so far

It's a good start, for sure. The graphics are good, the animation funny, the sound, for what you have, is all right, and the controls work pretty good so far. All you really need is a one player vs. computer mode, special attacks, more room to back up and go forward (ala Mortal Combat), less obscure character selection (besides Pico and E. Bob), and a three-round victory system. Aside from that, you're pretty much done. :)

I don't think the character selection is very obscure, both Ninjai and Genyu are quite well-known, don't you think? If I'll ever make a sequel to this, I think I'd also include Orderly (from Disorderly), a stickman (from xiao xiao or whatever), perhaps Samurai Kick-ass, and one of the guys from College University. If anybody has any suggestions for other characters to include, write a review!

Good, but not great.

Decent adventure RPG game. Good sound, stable interface, and definetly playable. I was never much of a AD&D-style fan, but this does an okay job.

Everyone's really lauding this as the greatest thing on Newgrounds ever, but I don't think that's quite the case. I wish there was animation in the game, instead of just the "picture and text" style, and the whole dice rolling thing gets tedious. It's too short too; and you don't level up until the game is over. I seriously doubt the character attributes make that all that much difference - at least things like Charisma don't seem to matter much. I maxed out Strength, Dex, and Constitution, and I got through a lot easier than any other combo.
.
This is decent work, for sure, but I don't think it's no. 1 material.

Very fun game.

Fun? Yes. Addictive? Yes. Inventive? Yes. Working high score? No. This is a very fun, very quickly-addicting mouse-mashing game that seems to demand...one...more...game. It runs fast; the physics work well; the differnet balls are very nice; the powerups are a smart addition; and the learning curve is very well-done.
.
I only wish there was a functioning high-score system! I'm sure people would love a tourney of high-frenzied button-mashing. Other than that, this is great work!

Good start; needs more.

Great fun beating up Stimpy! But it's quickly repetitive, and lacks the movie-quality of the rest of your work. You should add some color, some storyline around it, and then let Ren just beat Stimpy to death. I for one would like to see that. For all your Spumco-style animation, I like seeing the characters the animation style spawned.

If I've unfairly judged your movie, please tell me. I make every effort to be objective and thoughtful.
