Good production.

The humor is a little off-kilter, but the production value of this flash is quite good. The animation is clean, the voicework is clear, and the timing isn't that bad. Worth a watch.

A witty response.

The sad thing is, this is truly a BETTER video than the original, but it will likely never get the credit. The "acting" is better, the lipsynching is better, and the pictures are better-timed and more appropriate.

The whole concept of a Numa Numa Dance is still very stupid, and your video is no exeption, but I keenly enjoyed your sardonic response to what has truly been an overblown fad. Props to you for such a witty response, but you also gotta give credit to Gary for unwittingly gaining internet notoriety.

Overblown.

So, my take on this video fad? I think it's annoying, trite, and stupid. It showcases no particular talent beyond the ability to act silly in front of a webcamera. In other words, anyone with the will and a webcame could do this. From a technical analysis, I don't think the lip synching is as good as people claim, and the low video bitrate causes the whole picture to go spotty during high-action scenes. Flash is also not an appropriate medium for strictly-video media. The "original" version features odd picture inserts that don't really add much to the "quality", such as it is. Finally, the video has no ending as such, but repeats indefinetly at an odd spot. Basically, this movie has no outstanding qualities.

Now that being said, the only real problem here is that this humble video has completely overblown by the fickle and easily-amused American public. This is not the author's fault. From spotlights on CNN, Good Morning America, and VH1, FAR too much attention and importance has been thrust on such a simple and (probably) spur-of-the-moment home video. Who knows how many college students, relatives, and co-workers have had their inboxes spammed by this, expecting somthing awe-inspiring. People's expectations are high, and of course they're disappointed by the offering, because it wasn't intended for mass-distribution. This is all very much like the "Star Wars Kid" fad.
.
Finally (yes, I am closing), this part is to the author in particular: I wanted to clarify that I hold no animosity towards you. In fact, I WAS amused by the video (and watched it several times). This review is over-done only because the video was over-hyped. Honestly, I wish you the best, and encourage you to never lose that sense of flamboyancy and zest for life. Don't let the haters ridicule your liveliness; just be yourself. On the other hand, don't let this fad get to your head. Just enjoy your fifteen minutes of fame and move on. Congratulations on snagging that elusive internet fame, and good luck in the future!

Good work!

Excellent animation and character design are the most enjoyable features of this movie. The character anatomy (detailed muscle structure) was particularly well-done. The fighting was good, although the ending felt a bit anti-climactic. High-quality stuff!

Too short.

Interesting idea and decent animation, but the quick ending makes it feel short and abrupt.

One fat rat.

An excellent computer-animated short, with high quality animation and story. It's similar in style and quality to the shorts that Pixar shows before their feature movies. My only complaint is that Flash and Newgrounds is not the best format for Quicktime-style movies. That aside, very entertaining!

Pure skit.

Funny bunch of skits! Some of it was hit and miss, but I particularly enjoyed the Bush and Sperm skits.

Infinite fun.

It feels pretty much like the first Trevor, which is why it merits about the same score I gave it before. While these random, infinite loops are entertaining, I wish they were longer.

Pretty good!

Simple but enjoyable. It had a good variation of endings and I liked the character style.

Needs content.

It's a cute idea, but it needed more content. The music doesn't quite cover for the sparse animation.

If I've unfairly judged your movie, please tell me. I make every effort to be objective and thoughtful.
