Good movie, nice message.

More good work, Ben. Has anyone ever told you that your movies have a very "Jerry Brukheimer-ish" type quality to them? Your style of melodrama, operatic music, and bombs just really seems to scream The Rock, or Con Air, or Pearl Harbor. There's nothing wrong with that, I just kinda notice a similarity.
Good work with this movie. It has a good message, and a developed sense of genuine compassion. Frankly, I like this theme better than a crazed Stick-Slayer. ^_^ But, to each his own, right? Keep on shipping out them movies, Mr. Brukhei... I mean, Mr. Spurgin.

Woohoo! Your review made my day! Jerry Bruckheimer's my favorite director, and to be compared to him like that sent a tingle down my spine! Glad to know I'm doing SOMETHING right!
The lords of karma shall remember you... ;)

The Famous Final Task.

Ahh, the infamous Final Task. Quite possibly the most revered and talked-of piece of Flash ever to grace Newgrounds. The good news: it's still as beautiful now as it was when it was first submitted. And while it may have fallen from grace and the no. 1 spot, it's still one of the most visually stunning and artistic things I've ever seen on Newgrounds. Nice work.

Okay work.

This is okay work, but I don't see why it's top-20. Maybe I've never played Kung-Fu, but I've always seen these "emulation flashes" as somewhat of a cop-out.
Still, good work with what you've got. Graphics are kinda blecch and it runs a bit long, but good job exploring a new game for Newgrounds.

Fun-ay!

Loony, crazy, hilarious stuff! What a strange, yet somehow satisfying movie. You did such a good job of personifying a crazy crappy Portal submitter. I laughed my butt off on this one. For a movie that is near a year old, this is still great stuff.

Funny stuff

Down you go, Penny Bain. >:-D

Creepy.

Strange movie... but I guess that's the point, isn't it? Good emulation of Out of This World... I never did like that game (nor get far in it), but I like this movie. Clean graphics, unnerving atmosphere, and a generally creepy attitude. Nice work.

Great DBZ parody!

I loved it! This is probably the second best DBZ Parody on all of NG, the first being Brutality of course (it'd be HARD to beat that).

Three things make this great: one, it's unpredictably funny. No one expects an AI Joke in there, but it's wonderful. Two, it stays true to the DBZ series. Good imitation of voices, attack styles, and especially Super Saiyan mode. Three, the graphic style is unique and enjoyable. It's vaguely similar to Eskimo Bob, but still manages to be appealing.

Overall, great job! It's good to see people doing QUALITY DBZ spoofs.

More excellent work.

This is my second favorite of the SOC series (the first being Ep 12 with Grandpa). Obviously, this one is funny for two main reasons. One, the dancing squirrel is completely unexpected and totally hilarious. Secondly, the censor's untimely demise was both expected and unexpected, if that makes any sense. Plus the audio is always top-notch. Where can I get that sound file?
Anyhow, more great work. Your stuff is fresh, freaky, and out of control. Keep it up.

%&!*ing Funny

Amazing.I can't believe I'm this touched by Mario.

My God.. this is... beautiful. I don't know exactly why, but in addition to finding it humorous, violent, and graphically stunning, I also found this movie to be incredibly, powerfully artistic!
I'm serious. Maybe it's the powerful Rachmaninoff. Maybe it's the movie's excellent coordination to and interpretation of that music, or maybe it's the depressing and uplifting moments of despair and triumph that make it so great. The artwork is both cartoonish, yet brimmed with force and emotion. The fleshing out of the characters gives previously two-dimensional Nintendo characters a sense of depth and humanity. Even the movie's title indicates the powerful emotive currents that underlie this movie.
Maybe it's just that I've always hated Luigi, and I've always wanted to see that green fruity bastard get the shaft. That rotten bastard always beats me in Mario Party 2, it's time he got his just commuffins.
At any rate, I could go on forever. I don't know exactly why, but this movie touched me. I'm literally getting teary-eyed here, and I usually don't get misty for much of anything.
Thank you man. Thank you for such a great NG movie. You touched me, and I really mean it.

If I've unfairly judged your movie, please tell me. I make every effort to be objective and thoughtful.
