Needs more length.
Good concept and artwork, and the humor style is solid, but the movie is just too brief.

Thanks for the review. I appreciate the comments.
Decent work.
Clever and mildly funny. Good sprite work, clever theme, and suprisingly long - perhaps even too long. It's never laugh-out-loud funny, but it's worth the watch.
Judgin by how fukin ugly you look. (See Profile) i now know how it's humanly possible to write sucha fukin nerdy review.
He shoots, he misses.
It almost got interesting, but the slideshow quickly gave out, leaving us with nothing but a ripped song. There's nothing worth seeing here.
yes there is
get it?
Very impressive.
All-around wonderful work. Slick style, awesome animation, and a clever soundtrack to boot. Worth the entire 10 meg, and one of the best flash movies I've seen yet.
.
You did get too preachy about reviews in the opener. I agree that people should review fairly, but no one wants to wade through four screens of personal complaints.
Well, believe it or not, knowing NG's audience, if I didn't make that clear I'll get complaints shoved down my throat... People are hard to please, and I can't (and do not intend to)please all. Anyway most people probably just cast a blam because they see the initial filesize (16kb) anyway. :( Thanks for liking it nonetheless
It's a review.
Somewhat informative on the history of GTA3, but also suffers, as you said, from "lack of art or animation." It's sort of like a game review - and with reviews you are QUITE prolific. :)
Heh ok avg review i guess hehe, i guess i had that one coming heh...
Still needs work.
Better than a dancing stick, but it still lacks a good plot or presentation. The slideshow effect makes it too choppy and slow.
Heheh ok well another avg review but thats ok, well i really suck at flash, and need to learn how to tween, but anyways thanks for the review...
A bit too close to home.
Short and funny work, and a bit too true.
Hehe yes it is.
:)
Just average.
The song is smooth and easy, albiet nothing too extraordinary. The animation, however, is static and uninteresting until things pick up a bit with some interesting guitar info and painful strobe effects. Not a bad movie, but there's no real defining moments in it.
Eh, glad you like it... buddy.
Good start; a ways to go.
On the plus side, it's a neat (if often done) idea. Space theme movies are sadly underrepresented on Newgrounds.
.
On the flip side, there's nothing terribly compelling about your story as of yet. Crew leaves space and finds nothing. It also suffers severely from lack of space sounds (yes, albiet the fact that sound doesn't travel in a vaccum - BG music would at least have been appreciated). And it's obviously unfinished.
.
It's a neat idea - I would like to see the finished version. It just has some work to go.
Hey, thanx for the encouragement, I really don't know exactly why I posted that so early, other than to work up the desire to finish the first episode ;)
There will be background music, as well as voice acting for the characters (of which there are several) but unfortunately, I haven't finished turning the hand-drawn anime into Flash Animation yet.
And don't worry, in the actual episode, there won't be the long space sequences, or long blots of text. Expect the episode in a month or two.
Your review is in another portal.
More zany Mario work, but I'm disappointed that the Mario voice gets only one line - I consider that the series best point.
Thanks. I guess I should expand the series, huh?
If I've unfairly judged your movie, please tell me. I make every effort to be objective and thoughtful.
