Time for a Scooy Snack...

Ha ha ha... that was pretty funny. I love re-edited TV sound-files. Oh sure, the graphics are kinda "queer", and the sound probably isn't yours, but heck, it's damn funny.

And?

Good message, TFX. But submitting a crappy text file to complain about a stolen stick file doesn't make things any better. I agree with you, but this is meant for the BBS, not for the Portal.
.
And besides, the movie has (after this movie was made) been transferred to Zhu Zhu. Not the greatest of solutions, but it suits me fine.

TFX responds:

First off, 99% of all Portal viewers don't go to the BBS, so if there's some grand point that needs to be made, this is the only way to make it. Everyone on the BBS pretty much knows this.

Secondly, this movie is several months old. The message is lost. I cannot be bitched at for this.

Our condolences to all

A wonderful idea, and a good message on this dark day. But as a flash movie, it's (understandably) too short to be considered very poignant. While this is done in good intention, and scores wonderfully in that intent, we're reviewing this movie on ALL fronts. As a work of flash, I can only give this movie a medium mark due to its extreme shortness and thrown-together nature. I understand your desire to send this out in the same day, but a few days of thoughtful elaboration would make this movie excellent. I will vote 5 for this movie today in the hopes of a #1 spot memorial, as well as for 9/11/01.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all Americans in this dark hour. God bless.

Strange but good.

What an odd and unique little movie. I actually rather liked it. An interesting premise that's fleshed out rather well with smooth frame animation, and strangely enough, a Russian anthem. I just wish it was a little longer. Now why you would dance with grenades in pink ballerina dresses to the tune of Russian Patriotism, I don't know. Maybe that's just your thing. But it does make for an interesting movie.

Pretty cute!

I really liked it actually! You have some natural talent with comedy, and fairly palatable artistic style. Sure, it could use some sound, and the text is kinda fast-flowing, but the basics are here: graphics, style, and humor, so this is a definite seven job. Nicely done for a first movie! I can relate.

All your base are owning us.

Ahh, not the infamous AYBABTU movie!! I'm suprised I never reviewed this; what with it being in the coveted #1 spot for so long.

Anyway, I still enjoy this movie, but probably not as much as when the whole AYB craze was huge. Still, it is quite amusing. Good emulation of Zero wing, followed by a well-paced stream of doctored images, all covered by an amusing re-mix of the poorly-translated sound file. Not bad. Not my favorite thing, but still worth a good laugh if you know the joke.

This movie has fallen somewhat from glory, but it's still woth the watch.

Thought it would be great, ended up okay.

I thought I was REALLY going to like this movie, but I ended up just enjoying it. Good concept of going into a black hole, but I'm not sure I found the concept of a "graveyard ocean" in a black hole very profound. Ignoring the physical impossiblity, it seems to me like there would be like time travel, or moving to an alternate dimension, or something, but not an ocean. You tried to make it seem like an endless loop, but I didn't find that too appealing either. The guy just got crushed by an inter-dimensional rock. Woo hoo.
.
Good idea, and good grahpics BTW, but I didn't like your concept of the inside of a black hole.

Nicely profound.

A humble little movie with a big message to proclaim. It never ceases to amaze me; the absoulte majesty of the universe on a macroscopic scale, and the intricate inner workings of a single atom on a microscopic scale. This author brings this point to light, and goes a step further: tying in the concept that the microscopic scale is not unlike the macroscopic; with universes, galaxies, and planets all its own, perhaps just like or the same as Earth and our universe. Profound, trippy stuff. I really liked it. Music would have helped, but didn't detract from the profundity of this movie.

If I've unfairly judged your movie, please tell me. I make every effort to be objective and thoughtful.
